Bill Harding,was a prominent member of the Qantas management team - an icon of Qantas Airways.
Former Director of Finance Bill Harding passed away aged 98 on 5 December 2019. Born on 11 July 1921, he served in the Army in PNG during WW2 and joined Qantas as Personal Assistant to the Chief Accountant on 10 March 1947. He held various positions in the Finance Branch during his 35 year career, including 29 years as an executive, eventually heading up the Branch. He retired from Qantas as Director of Finance and Administration on 1 July 1982.
