Cam Davies

Cam joined the Qantas Cadet program at Qantas Melbourne in 1966/67 after finishing secondary school as a boarder at Melbourne Grammar. As a cadet he progressed through various training departments including Sales Promotion, Advertising and Reservations before finally working in the Ticket Office in 230 Collins St. Leaving Qantas in the mid 1970's he moved to Ballarat to take up a position in the travel industry there. Following this he then went on to start his own company in Melbourne. His sense of humour and his genuine care of and appreciation for. Friends and family were characteristics of his that were admired by all fortunate to have known him. And for those that knew him the words at his funeral service, "We know not the value of a moment until it becomes a memory", will always ring true. Above words provided by good friend Bryan Dickson
