Once again It is with sadness that I bring you news of the passing of Cameron Dreverman.

Very reliable and supportive in his dealings with fellow staff members.
Cameron joined Qantas in Melbourne during 1962 and transferred to Sydney in 1964.
He spent 12 months as a Flight Traffic Officer, then posted to Nadi in 1965 as Ramp Co-ordinator.
Returning to Sydney, he remained in the ‘Old Terminal’ as an STO doing Load Sheets and Check-in Supervisor.
During his time in the ‘New Terminal’ he worked in the role of Passenger Superintendent.
In 1980 he was posted to Singapore for 3-4 years as Airport Manager.
Returning to the SIT he took up various rolls including Customer Handling Manager.
He spent time in Airport Systems in the Admin 2 building and finally retired as Airline Contracts Manager in 1994.
Cameron passed away peacefully at Sutherland Hospital on Thursday 19th June 2025.
He was surrounded by his grandchildren and family.
His illness was short and unexpected. His wisdom and love will be missed by all.
