Harry was born on 27 May 1930 and sadly passed away on 27 August 2025, at 95 years of age.

He was appointed to Qantas on 26 April 1949 and worked in the Rose Bay Traffic Department, before transferring to the Cargo Department in Darwin.

He then joined the Cargo Tariffs area in Sydney and subsequently, over many decades, established himself as the doyen in the Tariffs Department. An absolute genius in his field of expertise.

Harry's distinguished career within Tariffs meant he was well known within the Industry. He was a Qantas representative at many IATA Tariff meetings and for a number of years, was Chairman of this Committee.

He retired from Qantas on 31 January 1983.
