He moved to North West Orient Airlines early 70s, in Bangkok.
John then worked for Malaysian Airlines in the late 70s.
He re-joined Qantas early 80s.
John was then seconded to Air Pacific in the mid 80s.
John returned to Qantas late 80s.
He was then posted to MEL in 1991 and to BKK in 1995.
John last posting for Qantas was to Jakarta in 2000.
In 2001, John was appointed the CEO of Air Pacific.
John retired in 2010 after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
