Information provided by his son, Wes Mason.

Dad, who started at Essendon Airport as a Traffic Officer with Qantas in 1958 and rose to be Cargo Manager Vic/Tas before the move to Tullamarine, thence worked in several roles at Tullamarine in Sales Development and at various times after his time at Cargo as Airport Manager, Airport Duty Controller, Terminal Services Manager, Ground Services Controller and at least one Project role, sadly passed away peacefully on 18th March, 2023, at Footscray Hospital.
Dad was just 15 days past his 88th Birthday.
Those who knew Dad well, know that he also worked in a Bank, as a photographers assistant, in the housing commission, played football for Collingwood and Carlton in the VFL and East Perth in the WAFL for a few games (alongside Polly Farmer who was a friend of my Late Mum and Dad).
He was also a prolific cartoonist, turning full time after his career with Qantas.
Dad was one of those now rare people who knew Hudson Fysh and most of the CEOs of Qantas during his time and who even played cricket with Hudson Fysh during many Qantas Cricket games.
