Joined Qantas as a Junior Commercial Trainee (JCT) on the 1965 Intake.

Steve [Stephen John} Eyre passed away peacefully at Japara Coffs Harbour on 30th March. He had been suffering from Parkinsons for some time.
Steve was in the Ticket Office in Hunter St. in the 60's, spent time in Canberra, and also had stints in San Francisco, New York and Port Moresby in various sales positions.
In later years Steve worked with Air Vanuatu as Manager Australia and spent time in Port Vila also.
There will be an obituary notice in the Sydney Morning Herald on Friday 1st April. Private cremation with a Memorial Service TBA at Hastings Point.
